Time to sell my Vette

This is a one of a kind, custom, hard top convertible Corvette. The miles listed are not as high as the listing might suggest. This car was custom modified/re-worked in 2009 when it had 88k on the odometer, so only 31k miles over the past 5 years since the rebuild. I bought it from Redline Ric Corvettes at the time. He bought the car to rebuild and modify it to what you see today. It's built on the frame of a 1999 C5 Corvette, and custom built with elements from the C5, C6 and Z06 Corvettes. There's no other Vette on the road that looks like this. Even people who know their Corvettes will ask you what year this is and it if it's a new model. Definitely turns heads and looks & sounds mean. Don't want to sell it but need the cash right now. Here's a snippet from the email about the features, modifications, and known issues that Redline Ric Corvettes sent to me about the Vette when I bought it from him in 2009:"Automatic transmission, power everything, heads up display, carbon fiber dash kit, white gauge set with black light back ground, chrome and carbon fiber sill plates, custom loyd floor mats with full rear mat, Z06 front grille set, Z06 side grille set, Z06 rear brake cooler vents with new inner fender wells and ducting, Z06 chrome rims, new tires, drilled and slotted rotors, Z06 calipers, anti bump steer, metal end links, lowered 3 1/2 inches, front frame wheels, Z06 bra, hood spears with red pin stripes and 450 hp logo, side grand sport stripes with red pin stripes, rear black out panel, stainless steal Corvette letters front and rear, tinted rear window, hurricane ram air, HP mass air flow sensor, power duct, 1090 cfm throttle body, computer programmer, B&B cat back exhaust, 178 thermostat.I think thats about all the mods but I'm sure I'm forgetting something. The car has 2 issues, both are no big deal. (# 1,) 2 tire pressure sensors are bad, about $150.00 dollars ea, They don't have to be replaced unless you want to read your air pressure on the dash. you can go with or with out. ( # 2, ) the oil pressure sender for the oil gauge is bad, it reads pressure but to much, this goes bad in almost all C5 and C6 Corvettes and no need to replace this, if the gauge reads pressure, you have pressure. these things are common. If it were mine I would replace the tire sensors cuz it's cool, and would not touch the oil sensor. These cars get around 250k-300k miles if well taken care of with little or no work. 30 plus miles a gallon on FWY, but if you have a big foot, with all the mods to this car you can get much less.....LOL. All the work on this car was also done by me, and I would sell this car to my mom if that say's anything. Hope you like."Here are a few other details about the car that he didn't mention in the email:Car has 4 Bose speakers, each with their own amp. Exhaust pipes were new to the build as well, wider and better looking.I've had the car for almost 5 years now, and have only put 31k miles on it since the rebuild. (about 6k miles a year). Just like Ric said, it's been a great car that has needed little to no work. I've obviously had to replace tires over the years, and an occasional battery at the end of the winter seasons. (Corvettes are known to kill batteries if they sit for a few weeks in cold weather without being driven). It's been a summertime recreational vehicle for me. Always kept in a garage year round. Rarely been driven in any wet weather. Have always used Mobile 1 oil. I almost always run the car with NOS Octane Booster in the gas tank as well. Recent Improvements / Maintenance:I just recently took the car to Squires Performance and Tuning as a 5 year checkup. They put it on their DYNO and did a custom tune on the engine to get it back to peak performance. They also raised the car back up another inch, as the 3 1/2 inches that it was originally lowered proved to be a little too low, making it inconvenient to drive. So now it's only 2 1/2 inches lower than stock instead of 3 1/2 inches. I also had them clean the air filter, replace a blinker bulb that had burnt out, and replace the drivers side fender that had a crack in it from someone bumping their trailer into it when backing up. That's the fender that had the grand sport stripes on it, which I didn't replace on the new fender since I couldn't find anyone selling any that matched the hood spears w/ pin stripes. So some of the pics will show the fender stripes but just know they aren't currently on there. I also just put brand new, Sumitomo Z-rated tires on the back wheels just last week and had the A/C tuned up & recharged. (Front wheels are in great condition with plenty of life left, and are Z-rated as well). I also just put a brand new battery in last week too.So, needless to say the car is in great shape. Tons of acceleration. Handles like a dream. Looks even better. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
